Admission Process & BITSAT 2026

BITS Pilani follows a unique admission system where the only criteria is merit. There are no reservations (caste-based) at BITS.

  • BITSAT Entrance: A computer-based online test covering Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (or Biology for B.Pharm), English Proficiency, and Logical Reasoning.
  • Direct Admission: First-rank holders (Toppers) of all Central and State boards in India are offered direct admission to the program of their choice, irrespective of their BITSAT score.
  • International Students: Admission via SAT scores is available for candidates with foreign passports.
  • Iteration Process: After BITSAT results, multiple rounds (Iterations) of seat allotment occur based on the candidate's preference and score.
