B.Tech. Approximate Tuition Fee

At ₹1,00,000 per semester, the standard B.Tech. tuition component for the first eight semesters is approximately ₹8 lakh, excluding hostel, examination, student services, institute charges and other applicable components.

Fee Concessions

IIT Delhi provides tuition-fee concessions/exemptions for eligible students based on family income and applicable categories.

For 2026 entry, the published structure provides:

• Eligible students with family income between ₹1 lakh and ₹8 lakh per annum receive tuition at one-third of the standard amount.

• Eligible students other than SC, ST and PwD with family income below ₹1 lakh per annum receive 100% tuition-fee exemption.
