Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi recorded another successful placement season in 2025, reaffirming its position among India's leading engineering institutions. The institute attracted a diverse mix of recruiters from technology, finance, consulting, analytics, manufacturing, research, and core engineering sectors. With strong industry partnerships, a highly skilled student pool, and an active Training and Placement Cell, IIT BHU continued to deliver excellent career opportunities across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

During the 2024-25 placement season, IIT BHU secured more than 1,370 placement offers, including Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs), from leading national and international organizations. The institute recorded a highest package of INR 2.20 Crore per annum, while the average package stood at INR 22.8 LPA, highlighting the strong demand for IIT BHU graduates across industries.

As per the latest placement statistics, over 1,079 students from four-year undergraduate programmes, 338 students from five-year integrated programmes, and 233 postgraduate students secured placements. The median salary package offered to UG 4-year students was INR 18 LPA, while students from UG 5-year programmes received a median package of INR 22 LPA. The median package for PG students stood at INR 9.2 LPA.

The placement drive witnessed participation from several renowned recruiters, including technology giants, multinational corporations, investment banks, consulting firms, and research organizations. Major recruiters included Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan Chase, Qualcomm, Uber, Oracle, Adobe, Nvidia, American Express, Visa, Mastercard, Deutsche Bank, Flipkart, PhonePe, Tata Steel, and many others.
