Admission Process & Eligibility

1. Step 1: CS Executive Entrance Test (CSEET): This is the mandatory qualifying entrance test for registration to the CS Executive Programme.
2. Step 2: Executive Programme Registration: Candidates who pass the CSEET register for the Executive Programme.
   • Direct Entry Exemption: Graduates/Postgraduates (with a minimum of 50% marks) or candidates who have passed the final exams of ICAI (Chartered Accountants) or ICMAI (Cost Accountants) are exempted from CSEET and can directly register for the Executive Programme.
3. Step 3: Executive Examination & Pre-Examination Test: Students must clear a mandatory Pre-Examination Test and a One Day Orientation Programme (ODOP) before sitting for the main Executive exams.
4. Step 4: Practical Training (Articleship): Students must complete a rigorous 21-month practical training under a practicing Company Secretary or in a recognized corporate entity. This typically begins after completing the Executive Programme.
5. Step 5: Professional Programme: Upon clearing the Executive level, students register for the final Professional Programme, which tests advanced governance, compliance, and secretarial audit skills.
6. Step 6: Membership (ACS): After passing the Professional Programme and completing all training requirements (including MSOP - Management Skills Orientation Programme), candidates are admitted as Associate Members of the ICSI (ACS).
