Admission Process & Eligibility

1. Step 1: Application Submission: Candidates must register online via the official NSHM admission portal, select their preferred campus (Kolkata or Durgapur), and pay the application fee.
2. Step 2: Entrance Examination: * B.Tech / B.Pharm / MBA: Submit valid scores from state or national exams (WBJEE/JEE/MAT/JEMAT).
   • Other Programs: Applicants must appear for the NPAT (NSHM Personality & Aptitude Test), which evaluates analytical skills, logical reasoning, and basic language proficiency.
3. Step 3: Personal Interview (PI): Shortlisted candidates must participate in a Personal Interview (PI) round, which can be conducted on-campus or virtually.
4. Step 4: Final Selection & Enrollment: A composite merit list is generated based on academic records, entrance scores, and interview performance. Selected candidates receive a provisional admission offer and must pay the initial fee to confirm their seat.

Eligibility Criteria:

• B.Tech / B.Pharm: 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics/Biology, and Chemistry securing a minimum of 45% aggregate (40% for reserved categories) from a recognized board.
• MBA / MHA: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
• BBA / BCA / B.Sc / B.Optom: 10+2 passing certificate from any recognized board. (BCA requires Mathematics/Computer Science/Statistics at the 10+2 level).
• M.Sc / M.Pharm: A relevant Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate.
