Admission Process & Eligibility

The admission process is transparent, accommodating candidates through state-level counseling quotas as well as direct admission pathways.

1. Step 1: Application Submission: Candidates must submit an online application via the official SHEAT portal or purchase the admission form directly from the campus.
2. Step 2: Entrance Examination: Applicants must possess a valid score from relevant national or state exams (JEE Main for B.Tech, CUET for MBA/BCA/BBA, JEECUP for Polytechnic, GPAT for M.Pharm).
3. Step 3: UPTAC Counseling: Eligible candidates must register for UPTAC counseling, listing SHEAT Varanasi as their preferred choice. Seats are allotted based on merit rank, category, and seat availability.
4. Step 4: Direct/Management Admission: A specific percentage of seats are available for direct admission based on past academic merit, subject to university and AICTE guidelines.
5. Step 5: Document Verification: Allotted candidates must physically report to the campus with original mark sheets, transfer/migration certificates, and ID proofs to finalize admission and pay the first-semester fee.

Eligibility Criteria:

• B.Tech: 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, and one of Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science as compulsory subjects. Minimum aggregate of 45% (40% for reserved categories).
• MBA: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% for reserved categories).
• B.Pharm: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved categories).
• BBA / BCA: 10+2 passing certificate from a recognized board.

Polytechnic (Diploma): Passed 10th standard with a minimum of 35% marks.
