Admission Process & Eligibility

Eighty-five percent (85%) of seats in all programs are filled through UPTAC Counselling, with the remaining fifteen percent (15%) reserved for the Direct/Management Quota.

1. Step 1: Application: Candidates must register and appear for the relevant national/state entrance exam (JEE Main for B.Tech, CUET PG for MBA/MCA).
2. Step 2: Counseling Registration: Eligible candidates must register on the UPTAC counseling portal, paying the requisite fee.
3. Step 3: Choice Filling & Allotment: Applicants participate in online choice filling, prioritizing SRMCEM. Seat allotment is based on entrance exam ranks and category quotas.
4. Step 4: Final Verification: Upon seat allotment, candidates must physically report to the SRMCEM Accounts and Registrar offices for document verification, submission of the counseling letter, and payment of the confirmation fee.

• B.Tech: 10+2 with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) + JEE Main score.
• B.Tech (Lateral Entry): Diploma in Engineering with a minimum of 45% marks.
• MBA: Graduation with at least 50% marks + Valid CAT/MAT/CMAT or CUET PG score.
• MCA: Graduation with at least 50% marks (Mathematics mandatory at 10+2 or Graduation level).
• BBA / BCA / B.Com (Hons): 10+2 from a recognized board (Maths/Business Maths required for BCA).
