BITSAT (Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test) is a premier national-level computer-based entrance exam for admission to integrated first-degree B.E., B.Pharm, and M.Sc. programs at BITS Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad, and Mumbai campuses. It is a 3-hour, 130-question, objective-type test covering Physics, Chemistry, English, Logic, and Mathematics/Biology, often conducted in two sessions (April/May) for 2026.

  • Sections: No strict sectional time limits, allowing flexible navigation.

The exam is 3 hours long and consists of 130 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)

  • Marking Scheme: +3 for a correct answer; -1 for an incorrect answer; 0 for unattempted questions.
  • Bonus Questions: If a candidate finishes all 130 questions within 3 hours, they can attempt 12 extra questions (3 from each subject) to boost their score. Once bonus questions begin, the previous 130 answers cannot be changed.
